A 11-day China photography tour is a dream come true for photography lovers, exploring China’s iconic landmarks and breathtaking landscapes. From the ancient marvels of the Hanging Temple and Yungang Grottoes to the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the stunning First Bend of the Yangtze River, this tour offers endless opportunities to capture unforgettable moments. With scenic sunrise and sunset shoots, unique terraced fields in Dongchuan, and the adorable pandas in Chengdu, it’s the perfect adventure for those seeking to blend culture, nature, and photography.
Day 1 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing with international flight, our car will pick us up and transfer to our hotel. In the evening we take a tour in Wangfujing Street. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 2 Beijing-Datong
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight Beijing/Datong. Known as the ‘City of Coal’, Datong is not only the second biggest city in Shanxi, but also one of the famous historical and cultural city in China. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to visit Hanging Temple with sunset. Hanging Temple was built in the year of 491, stands at the foot of MT Hengshan, which hangs on the cliff of Jinxi Gorge more than 50 meters above the ground, that is why the name is Hanging Temple. Back to Datong for overnight.
Day 3 Datong
In the early morning, we drive to Hanging Temple to take photos of the sunrise in Hanging Temple. Then back to Datong to visit Yungang Grottoes, which is one of the three major cave clusters in China. Started in 450, the grottoes are a relic of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Absorbing Indian Gandhara Buddhist art, the sculptures here developed traditional Chinese are melded with social features of the time. Today will overnight in Datong.
Day 4 Datong-Taiyuan/Chengdu
Drive to Taiyuan airport for flight Taiyuan/Chengdu, Chengdu is the capital city of Sichuan province, which is known as the ‘Land of Abundance’. Be met and transferred to hotel for overnight in Chengdu.
Day 5 Chengdu/Lijiang
Breakfast at hotel, then visit Panda base, located just 10KM away from downtown, the Panda Base has been created and imitated the natural habitat in order that pandas might have the best possible environment of rearing and breading. Jinli street. Transfer to airport for flight Chengdu/Lijiang.
Upon arrival, be met and transferred to hotel for overnight.
Day 6 Lijiang
Breakfast at hotel, then bus to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, take photos of sunrise at Ganhaizi(one of the Scenic Spots of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain) and then visit Ganhaizi, take cable cars up and down to visit Maoniuping(Yak Meadow). With the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying the clouds, that is why we got the name of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We will also enjoy the Impression of Lijiang. In the afternoon, bus to Lashihai, climb to the hill that will have good view of Lashihai, visit Lashihai, and then take photos of sunset.
Day 7 Lijiang
In the morning, photo-taking time of sunrise of the Black Dragon Pool, then back to hotel for breakfast time. Then we visit Lijiang Old Town and take photos of street view, and also full view of Old Town at Lion Rock. In the afternoon, bus to Shigu, taking time of the sunset of the First Bend of the Yangtze River (best time to take photos of the First Bend of Yangtze River)
Day 8 Lijiang/Kunming -Dongchuan
Transfer to airport for flight Lijiang/Kunming, then continue to Dongchuan with bus. take photos of Luoxiagou, Thousand-year banyan, Duoyishu, Grand View of Red Land, Dayakou and other sight spots, then photo-taking time for sunset. Overnight in Dongchuan.
Day 10 Kunming
Breakfast at hotel, but to Damakan to take photos of sunrise, then visit Qicaipo, JIuxiuyuan, Lepuao and other sight spots, then bus back to Kunming for overnight in Kunming.
Day11 Departure
Breakfast at hotel, then we drive to airport for flight to Beijing. END of service.
